Singlehood is not a curse
INTRODUCTION
Hello, my name is Sarah
Hello, am Karen nice meeting you
do you live around here?
Sarah: Yes, I do I live around the corner I come here often to shop
I like the quality of their product.
Karen: Oh I see, we are travelling to London and we had to transit here in Newyork
that's why am here whiling away time as I wait for our next flight to London
this is my husband Tom He is the quiet type.
Sarah: Hi, Tom nice meeting you
You and your wife Karen make a lovely couple
Tom: Hi Sarah thank you we get that often
ARE YOU MARRIED SARAH?
Sarah: OH NO I AM SINGLE
Karen and Tom: you are so beautiful Sarah we wouldn't have guessed you are single.
Karen: Our time is up we have to go nice meeting you good luck hope you find someone soon.
Sarah: Oh, so soon?
Sarah: nice meeting you both thank you safe flight to London.
Karen and Tom: thank you bye
Sarah: bye
Sarah looks at herself thinking in her heard is there something wrong with me oh Lord when will I get married when will it be my turn. why am I still single?
I thought I made new friends but the moment they found out am single they suddenly have to go this always happen to me Lord help me, am I cursed?
I have been single for a while now.
Hear the Voice of Wisdom
Are you like Sarah you are asking yourself this question why am I SINGLE?
You feel like the Lord is not hearing your prayers and certainly not answering you.
You have been single for a while may be 1year, 2years, or even more.
God works in seasons Genesis 8:22 and we must understand the workings and ways of God so that we do not get into discouragement and despair which will lead to a dark worrying place where you doubt God and His will for your life.
The season of singlehood is crucial and extremely important because it is the foundation of your life and if care is not taken in working with the Holy Spirit you will miss what God wants to build into your foundation before He releases you into the covenant of marriage season.
As proverbs 1:4 says, it is in your single season(youth) that is when God desires to have intimate fellowship with you so you will know Him and He will reveal Himself to you in a unique way.
1. IDENTITY - The real you
And as you have fellowship with Him He opens you up to who you are your IDENTITY, the Real you, the YOU that He had in mind when you were being formed in your mother's womb Jeremiah 1:5.
This is one of the foundational truth God wants to work in you in this single season.
2. DESTINY - The Perfect will of God
Genesis 2:15-17 Another Key foundation God is desiring to work or build into you is DESTINY the will of God for your life. please read genesis 2:15-17 God gave Adam the first man purpose before even creating his wife Eve.
Without identity and destiny you will be lost without bearing in your life no Godly direction your life will not count in eternity, you will pass through life without making a mark in heaven and on earth.
CONCLUSION - So why are you single?
It is because God LOVES you and He wants an initiate relationship with you.
That will lead into a covenant relationship where you will become One with Him Spirit, Soul and Body totally in love with Him.
This is the Foundation of earthly marriage between Husband and Wife.
Without this Foundation: This is what you will see in your marriage
- Your marriage will not work as God intends it to be.
- Your marriage will not carry the glory of God.
- Your marriage will not fulfill the purposes of God which is the will of God for your marriage.
- The fruits your marriage bears will not count in eternity because your marriage was not founded on the Word of God.
- Your marriage will be ordinary without Gods anointing and Favour.
So the delay you are experiencing is God speaking to you.
- TO GROW UP.
- TO REPENT.
- TO CONSECRATE YOURSELF TO HIM.
- TO DELIGENTLY SEEK HIM.
- TO GET INTO COVENANT WITH HIM AS YOUR LORD AND KING.
Guidelines - What you should do now.
Get into an intimate fellowship with Jesus.
Allow Him to grow you.
He will manifest Himself to you.
Give you an identity and destiny.
And then He will lead you from this season of singlehood into the next season the Covenant of Marriage season GLORIOUSLY.
Note Here: So, you are not cursed dear Single Christian you are being pursued by God.so you can know Him intimately and know His will for your life.

Lord we pray that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened to know you and your will for us that in this single season we don't go ahead of you.
we pray for wisdom and revelation to know and understand this season accurately and to be obedient to you in all things Thank you Father in Jesus name Amen
